As stated before: making a custom animation is very time consuming. All you can do to make the job easier, is great....
So let's start:
What you need:
- A rig to work with ( used Nanashi, which comes in different versions. I will put the link in the end below.
- Blender 2.76 (Blender has many versions, you need this one to work with S4S)
- your patience
- this tutorial ;-)
1.
Download the programs you need and install them. I assume you can already do this, but if you want to plunge in the deep, do the 1st step.
2.
Open Blender 2.76
3.
Open the rigfile
Be sure to be on point 0 on the timeline.
5.
Make the hand or the facial expression pose
6.
Click one joint f.e. the wrist and hit B
Drag a square (box it) around the joints you altered
7.
To the right were it says pose library, push the + icon.
you get 'add new'.
8.
click. You get pose in the list. As this is not a very descriptive title, change it by double clicking and then give it a name of your own. Press Enter.
9.
If you have made another (hand)pose and you want your own preset back, box the hand and press the magnifying glass and select the pose you want.
And that's all.
VERY IMPORTANT - VERY IMPORTANT - VERY IMPORTANT
Don't forget to SAVE your personalized rig file.
